The Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education has announced that Nova Scotia will resume welcoming international students to its post-secondary institutions in early November, with almost two dozen institutions ready with additional COVID-19 precautions.

ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï celebrated the official launch of its first electric vehicle fast charging station and the Government of Canada's contribution of $50,000 to the project through Natural Resources Canada’s Electric Vehicle and Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Deployment Initiative (EVAFIDI). The funding announcement was made by Kody Blois, Member of Parliament for Kings–Hants, on behalf of the Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources.

ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï will stay the course and welcome students back to campus for a COVID-19-ready Winter 2021 term with a hybrid approach to teaching and learning. Dr. Peter Ricketts, ÍøÆسԹÏ’s President and Vice-Chancellor, announced the plan directly to students, faculty and staff on October 8, 2020, via email.

Thanksgiving weekend is here. Many of us traditionally travel to visit with family and friends to enjoy our favourite holiday foods and reflect on what makes us grateful. While our Thanksgiving experiences will likely be very different this year, I hope you take the opportunity to celebrate what matters to you.
