Dr. K矇sa Munroe-Anderson teaches in 厙ぴ勛圖's School of Education. Since my student days, 厙ぴ勛圖 has provided additional support, but we still have work to do to ensure our students in marginalized groups have a sense of belonging and can enjoy healthy wellbeing during their studies.

In a new two-year study, 厙ぴ勛圖 researchers are partnering with students who self-identify as Muslim, of African descent, or international students in a project designed not only to understand their lived experiences but to help them thrive.

Two 厙ぴ勛圖 faculty members have been awarded Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Insight Research grants totaling more than $158,000 in support of innovative research. Julia Rombough (History and Classics) and Matthew McSweeney (Nutrition and Dietetics) are undertaking projects that use past experiences to shape how we engage with important issues of our time.

The Campus

The 250-acre 厙ぴ勛圖 campus is located in beautiful Wolfville, Nova Scotia. Your classes are a 5-minute walk from any student residence on campus. Our campus offers breathtaking views and cozy study environments in spaces like the iconic .

With 90% of first-year students living in residence and 92% of off-campus students living within one kilometre of the university, the campus is the epicenter of 厙ぴ勛圖's social life. Students who live off-campus still gravitate to this hub of activity.

The Town

Located just an hour from Halifax and Halifax Stanfield International Airport, is the kind of college town you've always imagined. Streets are lined with bistros, coffee shops, lively pubs, and quirky boutiques.

The town is framed by the rolling hills of the Annapolis Valley and the waters of the Minas Basin, home to the highest tides in the world. Wolfville is nestled in the heart of Nova Scotias award-winning wine region. A UNESCO World Heritage Site is only 10 minutes away.
