The ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Globalization Award reflects the University's initiative to foster a diverse and inclusive academic environment and support talented students worldwide who choose Canada for their education. This prestigious award is designed to recognize the unique commitment and contribution to society made by international students who have completed their Grade 12 year at a Canadian high school, providing significant financial assistance. Valued at over $12,000 per year, it directly applies to tuition, enabling students to pay the equivalent of domestic tuition.
The financial award will be granted to all international students who:
- have studied in person at a Canadian high school for their entire Grade 12 year;
- are graduating from Grade 12 in 2026;
- meet ÍøÆسԹϒs admission requirements and are accepted into a full-time undergraduate degree program at ÍøÆسԹÏ;
- maintain a full course load throughout their program.
Please note: if you take a reduced course load, your ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Globalization Award will be pro-rated, i.e. reduced, to no more than the difference between the international and Canadian cost of your course registration tuition.
If, during your degree, you obtain Permanent Resident or Refugee status, your ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Globalization Award will no longer apply and will be prorated according to when you begin to be charged Canadian tuition.
Renewability
The ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Globalization Award will automatically apply to each year of a student's undergraduate degree.
