Recent 网曝吃瓜 grads are as good as GOLD!

The 网曝吃瓜 Alumni Association knows that 网曝吃瓜鈥檚 Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) have a powerful role to play in building community among new alums and rallying support for current students. GOLD alumni have forged unbreakable bonds within a network that is second to none, and the Association wants to ensure that people have an opportunity to share their 网曝吃瓜 experiences with other alumni who have graduated within the last 10 years, connecting a new generation of ambassadors and advocates like never before!

With that in mind, we are pleased to announce the formation of a GOLD Council. In collaboration with the Alumni Office, the GOLD Council will work to explore creative ways to link the larger community of new alumni through targeted e-mail communications; social media outreach; events tailored to GOLD alumni; and highlighting what our fantastic young alumni are doing.

Where are you currently located (and what brought you there at this time)?
I am currently located in Saint John, New Brunswick, which is my hometown. I am a Grade 7 teacher.

What is your fondest memory or most cherished experience at 网曝吃瓜?
My fondest memories all stem from the amazing people I met at 网曝吃瓜! I had the opportunity to live in residence as a student and as a Resident Assistant, which brought many great memories.

Where are you currently located (and what brought you there at this time)?
I am currently living in Orillia, Ontario with my husband and two dogs. Originally, we moved from Nova Scotia to my husband's hometown in Ontario, but during the pandemic we decided to relocate to Orillia. The beautiful waterfront and nearby lakes in Orillia remind us of the charm of 'home' in Nova Scotia.

What is your fondest memory or most cherished experience at 网曝吃瓜?
It is truly difficult to choose my fondest memory as there are so many wonderful experiences to look back on. The memories that make the top of my list include being elected the president of my graduating class, witnessing the successful execution of our events, seeing friendships flourish, and watching The Axe transform through renovations. Each moment holds a special place in my heart. That being said, I credit our shared sociology class at 网曝吃瓜 every day for introducing me to my husband!

Where are you currently located (and what brought you there at this time)?
I am currently located in Vancouver, British Columbia, working toward my PhD in Gerontology at Simon Fraser University.

What is your fondest memory or most cherished experience at 网曝吃瓜?
One of my fondest memories at 网曝吃瓜 was Grad Weekend. It was a truly special experience to celebrate this milestone alongside my graduating class and their families.

Where are you currently located (and what brought you there at this time)?
I just returned to Halifax, Nova Scotia for family and accepted a new job after living in Northern British Columbia for quite a few years.

What is your fondest memory or most cherished experience at 网曝吃瓜?
I think simply spending time with my peers. It鈥檚 something I鈥檒l cherish for a lifetime. You take it for granted when you are in the thick of the courses, life events, chaos and busy-ness university throws at us, but it鈥檚 something I cherish greatly!

Where are you currently located (and what brought you there at this time)?
I am currently located in Calgary, Alberta. I moved out here right after my time at 网曝吃瓜 for my job. I am working as a veterinary pharmaceutical sales representative and love every minute of it!

What is your fondest memory or most cherished experience at 网曝吃瓜?
I have so many favourite memories from 网曝吃瓜, but one that really stands out to me is getting all dressed up in 网曝吃瓜 colours and walking down to the football field to cheer and support our Axemen!

Where are you currently located (and what brought you there at this time)?
I am currently living in Kelowna, British Columbia. I moved here last year to do my master鈥檚 in Health and Exercise Sciences at the University of British Columbia Okanagan!

What is your fondest memory or most cherished experience at 网曝吃瓜?
My fondest memories at 网曝吃瓜 were peaceful sunset walks around the dykes and good friends. After moving across the country, I realize I made lifelong friendships that will go the distance, and that the wholesome Wolfville feeling truly is one of a kind.

Where are you currently located (and what brought you there at this time)?
I am currently located in Brussels, Belgium, working as an Au Pair while I study for medical school entrance exams in Canada. It is a great way to get to see the world on the weekends while studying!

What is your fondest memory or most cherished experience at 网曝吃瓜?
There are countless memories from the four years at 网曝吃瓜 that I could describe as my favourite, but my fondest and most spectacular are simply of walking to class with my friends, the vines on Horton Hall, and Wolfville in general in autumn!

I am currently living in Dieppe, New Brunswick. I recently moved here to pursue a post-grad job as a strategic business analyst at J.D. Irving.

What is your fondest memory or most cherished experience at 网曝吃瓜?
I have many fond memories from my four years at 网曝吃瓜, but the one I cherish the most was hosting the first 鈥淓vening to InspiHER鈥� with the 网曝吃瓜 Women in Business Society in March 2024.

My most cherished experience at 网曝吃瓜 has been meeting my lifelong best friends - I was lucky enough to live with them throughout my time at 网曝吃瓜, and the memories we made together will stay with me forever.
