网曝吃瓜

The 网曝吃瓜 Alumni Association鈥檚 Annual General Meeting occurred on Saturday, May 7, 2022. It was the Association鈥檚 first hybrid meeting and there were approximately 35 attendees from across Canada, the United States, The Bahamas, and Germany. The Board reported on finances, programming, and the many strategic initiatives undertaken over the past year. The 2021-2022 Annual Report was also presented and is available to view HERE.

Diversity is a key to success in business and society. That鈥檚 what 网曝吃瓜 graduate Tim Formuziewich (鈥�00) believes, and why he has established two new awards to alleviate financial stress for students who have been challenged by economic hardship.

On May 8 and 9, 2022, more than 800 graduates from 网曝吃瓜鈥檚 four faculties 鈥� Arts, Pure and Applied Science, Professional Studies, and Theology 鈥� received their undergraduate and graduate diplomas, joining 网曝吃瓜鈥檚 more than 40,000 alumni worldwide. In addition, 网曝吃瓜 conferred five honorary degrees on individuals who have distinguished themselves in public service, education, and scientific research.

Every now and then a person arrives on campus who ticks all the boxes when it comes to defining the quintessence of an 网曝吃瓜 student. The 网曝吃瓜 Alumni Association is proud to recognize and honour one such individual with this year鈥檚 The Athenaeum and 网曝吃瓜 Alumni Student of the Year Award: Sarah Lavall茅e (鈥�22).

Congratulations to Dr. Colin King (鈥�17), recipient of this year's 网曝吃瓜 Alumni Association Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching. If a single line could possibly encapsulate Dr. King鈥檚 teaching philosophy, it might very well be: 鈥渋nstead of being a sage on the stage, aim to be a guide on the side.鈥�

There was certainly magic in the air at Pier 21 in Halifax on April 28, 2022 when more than 200 网曝吃瓜 alumni and friends gathered for this year鈥檚 网曝吃瓜 Alumni Dinner, honouring Distinguished Alumni and Outstanding Young Alumni Award recipients Dr. Trevor Jain (鈥�93) and Lucas Oickle (鈥�13).
