网曝吃瓜

The third Monday in January is called 鈥淏lue Monday.鈥� It鈥檚 known as the saddest day of the year. While it鈥檚 not scientific, Blue Monday is in January, when the air is chilly, the sun is noticeably absent, and the holiday hangover persist. To boost the mood and provide additional cheer on this dreary day, 网曝吃瓜 will be serving-up some cake for dessert at Soups and Sides on January 20th.

 

Soups and Sides is a weekly drop-in that welcomes community members to the Wolfville Farmers鈥� Market for soup and a side of community-building activities on Monday evenings from 5 - 6:30pm. The program was developed by 网曝吃瓜 students and is supported by the Town, 网曝吃瓜 and the Wolfville Farmers鈥� Market to help people build relationships while enjoying equitable access to delicious food that has been prepared by community chef, Ayzhia Beaton. Each week, leftover soups are donated to the ASU Food Cupboard in support of 网曝吃瓜 students.

 

Soups and Sides is a great way to get out for a hearty meal, to meet some new friends and to celebrate what a great, caring community we share. Drop by the Wolfville Farmers鈥� Market from 5 鈥� 6:30pm on Monday, January 20 to join the fun. It鈥檚 warm, fun, free, and welcoming. Plus 鈥� cake!
