If you are a member of the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï community who is not fully vaccinated, you are welcome and encouraged to attend our free vaccination clinic. No appointments are necessary. Bring your MSI card or ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï ID if you do not have a Nova Scotia Health Card.
Do not come for a vaccination if:
- you have tested positive for COVID-19
- you currently have any symptoms
- public health has asked you to self-isolate.
Eligibility
All ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï campus members are eligible.
- If you have had one dose of Johnson and Johnson, more than 28 days ago, you can receive one dose of an mRNA vaccine.
- If you have been fully or partially vaccinated with a non-Canadian approved vaccine, with your last dose being more than 28 days ago, you are eligible to receive one dose of mRNA vaccine.
- If you have only had one dose of a Canadian approved vaccine, more than 28 days ago, you can have one more dose of mRNA.
- If you have received 3 doses of any COVID-19 vaccine, then you are NOT eligible.
- If you have received 2 doses of any Canadian-approved vaccine, you are NOT eligible.
You are required to remain at the vaccination site for 15 minutes after you receive your vaccine, or 30 minutes if you have a history of severe allergy to vaccination or injectable medication.
If you have accessibility issues getting to the vaccination site, please contact caroliina.landry@acadiau.ca to book a time for alternate arrangements at the vaccination location.
