The holiday season is upon us and there was certainly a festive mood on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Lodge on Queen, aptly known as ‘Toronto’s Hidden Gem’. University President Dr. Jeff Hennessy (’99) was greeted in a beautifully decorated room full of holiday spirit by a group of inquisitive and engaged alumni from various decades, including Chancellor Bruce Galloway (’68, ’03) and past Chancellor Libby Burnham (’60, ’00). Conversation centered around the gift that ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï is to all of us, and good humour, camaraderie and community were the primary themes as Vice-President, Advancement Nancy Handrigan (’92), Executive Director, Alumni Affairs Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06), and Executive Director, Donor Relations Vicki MacCrimmon wrapped up this leg of our ‘Meet the President’ tour. A number of Dr. Hennessy’s former students also attended, and had a great time catching up with him throughout the evening.
