Dear members of our alumni community:
In the challenging situation presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï is committed to keeping the health and safety of our students, employees, alumni and stakeholders in the centre of the frame. In responding to unprecedented circumstances, we are following the lead of the Nova Scotia Chief Medical Officer of Health and the Government of Canada. In addition, as of March 17, 2020, ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï closed its campus to the general public and visitors. While our staff at the Wu Welcome Centre will be unable to work with you in person, we are available by e-mail and phone. Our alumni, donors, and partners can call 902-585-1459 or e-mail acadia.alumni@acadiau.ca for assistance. Thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.
If you purchased tickets for any ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï events or services, we ask that you consider holding on to your tickets for now, pending new dates, but if you would like a refund, please let us know and we will be happy to honour your preference. We ask for your patience – it will likely be several weeks before we can issue refunds as we focus on keeping our community well and containing the spread of the coronavirus.
For the information of donors, we will continue to gratefully accept donations by mail and online, but again, processing may be delayed due to work-from-home protocols. Again, thank you for your patience.
Be advised that ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï is still accepting and processing applications. Anyone with difficulties submitting application documents due to novel coronavirus can contact the University for assistance: Undergraduate students: admissions@acadiau.ca ; Graduate students: gradadmissions@acadiau.ca .
We will continue to follow the advice of the Nova Scotia Chief Medical Officer of Health and the Government of Canada as the situation unfolds and further postponements may be necessary in the future. Please monitor our alumni channels on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter for event updates.
