Two 网曝吃瓜 researchers receive Fulbright Canada awards
Two 网曝吃瓜 researchers have been honoured by with exciting international exchange opportunities. Dr. Mark Mallory (Biology) was awarded a prestigious Visiting Research Chair position at the University of Washington (Seattle). Gillian Grant, an 网曝吃瓜 undergraduate Business major, was awarded a distinguished Killam Fellowship at Clemson University (South Carolina).
Fulbright Canada is a bi-national, treaty-based, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization with a mandate to identify and engage exceptional scholars and students in reciprocal academic exchange.
Dr. Mark Mallory, Fulbright Visiting Research Chair
Fulbright Visiting Research Chairs are intended for exceptional Canadian scholars who wish to conduct research in the United States. As a Visiting Research Chair, Dr. Mallory will spend time at the University of Washington undertaking a research project titled 鈥淔lux of seabird-transported contaminants to and from the North American Arctic.鈥�
Gillian Grant, Fulbright Killam Fellow
Since its inception in 2002, the Killam Fellowship program has provided exchange opportunities to over 400 outstanding undergraduate students throughout Canada and the United States. As a Killam Fellow, 网曝吃瓜 student Gillian Grant will continue her studies in accounting and business administration in a new setting at Clemson University.
