Students promote spirit of reconciliation
A group of #ÍøÆسԹÏU Education students and members of the Indigenous Student Society of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï (ISSA) honoured Orange Shirt Day – Every Child Matters at an information booth in the Beveridge Arts Centre on Friday, September 30, 2016 to raise awareness and begin a dialogue surrounding the residential schools in Canada in the spirit of reconciliation. Some of the proceeds from the sale of the orange T-shirts proclaiming 'Every Child Matters' will be put toward Indigenous Student Society of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï activities. The effort was part of the Teaching and Learning for Activism course in the School of Education.
