Kitchen Wizards Celebrates 15 Years of Culinary Magic
The Kitchen Wizards Celebration at the Wolfville Farmers’ Market on December 4 brought together guests from campus and community who braved the snowy weather to join in a warm gathering.
is a collaboration between ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï and the Wolfville Farmers’ Market held each fall. By trying out fun recipes, it aims to enthuse and empower young people, especially 6-12 year olds, to enjoy local fruits and vegetables.
Together, attendees reflected on over 15 years of partnership and 14 years since the program’s first iteration. They enjoyed student-created recipes from over the years, got delightfully silly posing in tomato, carrot, and wizard costumes at the photobooth, and explored student-made educational tools – from games to colouring pages – that invited both kids and adults to play and learn.
The excitement and energy in the room made it clear how meaningful this program is for ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï students and the broader Wolfville community.
