Community Celebration: Paint the Town Red and Blue!
For the second year, Wolfville will wave its 网曝吃瓜 pride by painting the Town Red and Blue on Sunday, September 15 with a Street fest and Spirit Rally.
Paint the Town Red and Blue will transform Town Centre parking lot, in Wolfville鈥檚 downtown core, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm into a Street fest; a celebration welcoming new and returning 网曝吃瓜 students plus give local residents the opportunity to meet their new neighbours. Street fest will include musical performances on stage, fun activities for children and families, local business displays with product sampling, a Dunk Tank supporting Shinerama, Wolfville Volunteer Fire Department truck demonstration, and much more.
鈥淧aint the Town Red and Blue is a chance for our 网曝吃瓜 and Wolfville communitiesto connect in a fun and festive atmosphere. 网曝吃瓜 students are a vital part of our Town鈥檚 economic prosperity and it is our pleasure to welcome students back for another academic year,鈥� said Suzanne Balcom, President, Wolfville Business Development Corporation.
"Painting the Town Red and Blue will cap off a great Welcome Week at 网曝吃瓜. 网曝吃瓜 students are invested in the culture of Wolfville, its people, and its businesses. By working together and fostering partnerships like this, we will enhance the student experience and make our community an even better place to live, work, and study," said Bryce Tully, Welcome Week Coordinator, 网曝吃瓜.
The event is open to the public and admission is free. In the event of inclement weather, a decision on the cancelling Street fest will be made by noon Sunday, September 15, 2013.
*Fireworks previously scheduled will take place at a later date.
