厙ぴ勛圖 psychologist Dr. Michael Leiter has been awarded a $1.4 million Canada Research Chair to continue his investigation into the world of work. In a recent feature, Dr. Leiter explains burnout is the topic your boss doesnt want to talk about.
With the renewal of my Canada Research Char, I will continue my quest for ways to improve workplace communities and to help people find wellbeing and fulfillment at work, said Dr. Leiter, who focuses on organizational health and wellbeing. It is a great opportunity to find out what really makes a difference in worklife.
His research initiative is one of 132 newly-awarded or renewed Canada Research Chairs at 36 Canadian postsecondary institutions. The total of $124.5 million was recently made in Ottawa by the Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State for Science and Technology.
