网曝吃瓜 has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Newcastle, Australia, which will expand 网曝吃瓜's existing Study Abroad Exchange Program to 15 premier institutions in Europe, Australia, Caribbean, Asia, and more than two dozen institutions in the United States.

"This new partnership opens up a world of opportunity to undergraduate students both here at 网曝吃瓜 and at Newcastle," said Ray Ivany, 网曝吃瓜's president and vice-chancellor. "Participation in the Study Abroad Exchange Program provides students a chance to experience diverse educational systems and cultures in a seamless and supported manner."

Generally, 网曝吃瓜 partners with institutions that have an existing 网曝吃瓜 connection in order to provide personal insight and advice to students considering the program. Dr. Anna Redden, director of 网曝吃瓜's Centre for Estuarine Research, was a professor at the University of Newcastle, which is located just two hours from Sydney and has a student population of more than 30,000. "The university and local community will offer 网曝吃瓜 students outstanding learning opportunities and truly memorable Aussie experiences," she said.  

The University of Newcastle is research intensive with a reputation of excellence that is reflected in its consistent ranking in the top 10 Australian universities for research effort and outcomes.

"This partnership between our two universities reinforces the strong relationship that exists between Canada and Australia," said, David Wise, Newcastle's partnership and international coordinator. "I am sure our mutual ambassadors, both students and faculty, will ensure this MOU will lead to a dynamic and exceptional partnership between 网曝吃瓜 and Newcastle."

The Study Abroad Exchange Program allows qualified third-year students in a four-year program to attend one or two semesters at partner institutions as part of their regular tuition. During this academic year, 网曝吃瓜 has 11 students studying abroad and 16 exchange students visiting 网曝吃瓜 through the Study Abroad Exchange Program. Working with the international program officer, exchange students are guided and supported from the selection process until they return to their home university.

网曝吃瓜 offers study abroad exchange opportunities in Scotland, Wales, England, France, Germany, Spain, China (Hong Kong), Bahamas, the United States, and Australia.
